Grand Rapids was founded nearly 200 years ago and the area has been settled by native populations dating back many centuries. The city is home to several historic districts, including Heritage Hill, Cherry Hill, Fairmount Square, Wealthy Theatre, Heartside, and Ledyard Block. Given this rich and extensive history, it is nearly impossible to say what has happened on the building sites of all homes being considered by the buyer of today.
Grand Home Inspection LLC takes great pride in providing home buyers with all the information they need to make an informed decision when investing in a home. This is why we are proud to announce that Grand Home Inspection LLC is adding ghost inspection services to our already extensive lineup of services. We aim to give buyers peace of mind by ruling out paranormal activity, or at least giving them the chance to get acquainted with their apparitions.
How it Works:
Grand Home Inspection LLC uses the most advanced tools available to locate and identify paranormal activity. Perhaps the most important among those tools is the infrared thermal imager. This tool measures all temperatures in a certain field of view, assigns them a color, and plots them on an image known as a thermogram. Colloquially known as an infrared camera, this technology has long been used by Grand Home Inspection to detect water leaks, insulation problems, and damaged or improper duct-work. It has recently proved to be especially effective at ghost detection.
The presence of ghosts can be difficult to detect on the visible light spectrum, but an infrared camera can measure changes in temperature consistent with paranormal activity. As is true with all infrared applications, Grand Home Inspection has the training and experience necessary to competently identify the heat signature of an apparition and rule out false positives. If you’re considering buying a home in the Grand Rapids area, Grand Home Inspection can help you distinguish between the commonplace disturbances of the living and a proper poltergeist!
