Grand Home Inspection LLC invests heavily in training and continuing education to ensure that we can provide the best home inspections possible. As an experienced InterNACHI certified professional inspector, I instinctively see issues that would go unnoticed by the untrained eye.
A few people think they can self-inspect, have a friend or family member that is fairly handy around the house, or might even know a contractor, so they could be tempted to make the mistake of doing a simple walk-through themselves or with that friend or family member in place of a professional inspection. This causes problems because very few contractors or “fix-it” type handymen have experience with all housing systems and understand how they work together. You wouldn’t want a drywall hanger to inspect your furnace, you wouldn’t want an electrician inspecting your roof, and you wouldn’t want either to evaluate your landscaping for proper drainage.
As an InterNACHI certified professional inspector with experience specializing in West Michigan homes I understand how housing systems work together. I have training to know what to look for and specialized tools to see issues that cannot be detected by even the most experienced naked eye. Below you can see some of my findings with a brief description of the problems shown. Since I believe this is importable I will be adding the same gallery to the front page of this website and describing each image in greater detail in upcoming blog posts.
